Colin Hilton learned to fly at college before joining BankAmerica and Wang Computer. He designed a secure signature system that he demonstrated to Margaret Thatcher’s technology minister, before training for the airline industry. He was based at Heathrow flying Boeings, before contracting as Airbus captain and leading type-training at OAA’s simulator centre in Gatwick. Previously his outline for fast-build watercraft featured in UK defence awards. With over 15,000 flying hours he is responsible for developing and test-flying the airframe whilst assisted by a patent agent, engineer and angel investor.
